Description:
A+ Certification Operating Systems is the course you should take if your job responsibilities include the support of computers running the Windows 9x, Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems. In this course, you'll build on your knowledge and professional experience with defining a dial-up connection, creating a VPN connection, configuring users' Web browsers to access the Internet and intranet, configuring an email client, and troubleshooting Internet and Intranet connections. This course, along with the A+ Certification Hardware course, prepares you for the CompTIA A+ Operating Systems certification exam. In this course, you'll build on your skills with using a Windows-based operating system to learn the specific skills you need to install, maintain, and troubleshoot the Windows 9x, Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems.This course is targeted to an individual with basic end-user skills using Windows-based personal computers, who wishes to begin a career in information technology by becoming a personal computer service technician, or who wants to prepare to take the CompTIA A+ Operating Systems examination.

Objectives:
  • In this course, you will configure users' Web browsers to access Internet and Intranet resources, and troubleshoot the connections.
